Forestgate's vision for the youth of our church stands on the biblical promise:
To A Thousand Generations

We exist to raise up the next generations of God’s people by partnering with parents in their work of bringing up middle and high school students in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. We are committed to producing robust knowledge and corresponding love of the triune God, Christ’s church, and one’s neighbors.

God says in His Word, when he reveals His very nature to Moses, that He is a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. He promises that He keeps His covenant, His steadfast love, to the thousandth generation, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin.

Our ministry is committed to passing on this faith to our Forestgate’s young people. We trust in the promises God has made and work in hope to see that our young people embrace those promises with faith.

To that end we study books of the Bible, theological topics, and practice the application of our beliefs to our lives. The faith we labor to pass on is a living faith. Accordingly, we strive to serve our church and neighbors through regular service and outreach events. Our God has united us to one another just as He has united us to Himself. In light of this good truth, we seek to share and enjoy life together through prayer, fun events, and retreats.

FPC's Wednesday Night Youth Group is currently in a large group format, built for grades 7-12. We meet on Wednesday nights, 6:30pm - 8:45pm, at the church. On a typical night, we play a few games and have some snacks, sing a few songs, have a lesson on a biblical, theological, or cultural topic, and then break into small groups for prayer and discussion. FPC also has separate middle and high school Sunday School classes in between the worship services.
