Women’s Ministry
Our Women’s Ministry exists to equip and encourage women of all ages and in all seasons of life to grow in their relationships with Christ & each other. Our prayer is that through these means God will continue to draw us to Christ, deepen our understanding of the gospel, and ignite our passion to live as the community of believers and as a light to those around us.
We’re looking for women who feel called to serve—if you’re interested in helping with Women’s Ministry in any capacity, big or small, we’d love to hear from you. Please contact Patty at women@forestgate.org
Bible Studies
Ladies, would you like to find what you were made for – intimacy with God in the business of life. No matter what season of life you are in, a Bible study offers encouragement, enrichment, fellowship, and accountability.
Tuesday Morning Spring Bible Study January 13 - April 28
We will meet in the double classroom for fellowship, and the study will begin at 9:30am. Our book this spring will be “Suffering: Gospel Hope When Life Doesn’t Make Sense” by Paul David Tripp. For more info or to register, please contact Pat at tuesdayam@forestgate.org. Books are $11 and will be available in December. We look forward to seeing you there!
Our Wednesday Evening Bible study is on break until this fall. Please check back in August for more information or contact Stephanie at Wednesdayeve@forestgate.org.
LIFT – Ladies in Fellowship Together - Ongoing
Keep an eye out for announcements in the bulletin and on the website for monthly or special events like dinner out, a hike in the park, a weekend retreat, or our annual Christmas tea, etc. There are many opportunities throughout the year to enjoy fellowship and encouragement with the women at Forestgate. We hope you’ll be able to join us. For more information, please see the bulletin, Forestgate announcements, or contact Diana.
Book Club September - May
Are you a woman who loves to read? Our women’s book club is a relaxed space to connect, laugh, chat about books, share honest conversation, and grow together in community. We meet in members' homes the first Saturday of the month to discuss that month’s selected book. Please contact Marilyn at BookClub@forestgate.org for more information, including a list of books we’ll be reading and where we’ll be meeting.
