Engagement Ministry Team Event: Join us at Forestgate, and invite your friends to a community outreach event on Friday, July 4th from 8:30-10:00pm. We have a great view of multiple fireworks shows from our property. We'll serve ice cream and have face painting and hang out while we celebrate Independence Day together and watch the fireworks around town. 

Nursery and Children’s Church Volunteers Needed! We are in need of more nursery volunteers to serve during the 8:30am service and Sunday school hour as well as Children’s Church volunteers to serve in the 8:30am service. Both men and women are encouraged to serve! Commitment is one service slot every 4-6 weeks. If you love children and would like to help Forestgate in this way, please reach out to Aria at aria.rayes@forestgate.org.

To clarify, if you have one of the missing missionary binders, please return to the church as soon as possible. Most binders contain information or prayer requests cards which you are welcome to take home to guide your prayers for those missionaries. We keep the binders on church property for security reasons and to ensure that anyone can access them at any time. Thank you!

For all visitors, Chuck Young‘s shepherding group will be meeting Sunday June 29, after the second service for lunch and a time of fellowship in the double classroom. There will be plenty of food, so there’s nothing for you to bring except an appetite and an opportunity for us to get to know you!

All Church Workday, June 14, 8am: Men and women of Forestgate, WE NEED YOU! Not only for the great fellowship, but also for your help with cleaning and repairing our beautiful building and grounds. Teens and almost-teens (12+) if you want to help too, come! Our next communion Sunday has been changed from the first Sunday in July to the last Sunday of this month, June 29. This is due to our congregational meeting that will take place Sunday July 6. Please note the change on your calendar.

This month, our church plant and sister church, Waypoint, is heading up an effort with Welcome COS, a local non-profit helping refugees in Colorado Springs. Current refugee benefits do not include diapers and wipes. Our city’s refugees are in need of these items! Items include: 1) Diapers (Sizes 1–6, especially 3–5), Wipes, and Gift cards (Walmart, Target, Amazon – any amount). Donations can be dropped off in the lobby. Pickup day is June 20. Questions? We will have a Congregational Meeting on July 6, 2025, 9:50-10:55 am, between the 1st and 2nd service.

Tuesday Morning Women's Bible Study is meeting through August 12 (except July 8). We meet at 9 a.m. for fellowship and the study begins at 9:30 a.m. We will be reading and discussing Identity Theft by Melissa Kruger.
