Don’t Let the Deacons Have All of the Fun! In anticipation of our usual great turnout for the Annual Men’s Workday, Alex, our Building Manager, has identified 24 tasks to help keep our facility clean and useable. If left to just the deacons, you’d miss out on the grunting fellowship of working together, AND these tasks would take said deacons an estimated 20.4 hours to complete! Join us during the Sunday School hour on May 30th to celebrate the birth of Waypoint Church and send them off well! Forestgate has the opportunity to support Waypoint in a tangible way by gifting the church plant with items and equipment that will enable them to launch. The Christian Education Ministry Team will be leading an orientation session for all those men who have volunteered to teach adult Sunday School sometime in the future or those interested in finding out more about teaching one of the adult Sunday School classes in our curriculum.  This session is scheduled for Saturday, May 8, from 8:00 to 10:00am in the sanctuary.

Our annual Celebration of Gifts is a relaxed, fun filled night in two parts- an art gallery and a show. We love to have talents of all kinds and ability levels participate!
