‘Because the man on the middle cross said that I can come.’

Sometimes Thursday’s sermon notes end up on the cutting room floor on Saturday night. So you may not hear that phrase on Sunday, but if you do hear it (or if you’ve heard it before), I thought you might like to know the background.
