The Engagement Ministry Team has been working hard to come up with ways for Forestgate to reach out to our neighbors. We sponsor viewing parties for the Thunderbirds and Fourth of July Fireworks, we bring meals to the teachers at the Discovery Canyon Campus, and we want to do more. We are hoping to improve our efforts to equip and encourage our members to reach out to the people they know who live near the church. As we get to know our neighbors, we will be better positioned to have meaningful conversations with them which, we pray, will enable us to share the gospel with those who need Christ. We have some ideas, but we would like help with the generation, assessment, and implementation of hospitality and outreach plans from people who live among our 80921 church neighbors. We would love to meet with anyone and everyone in the church who would like to be involved in our outreach efforts with those who live closest to Forestgate.
